Giggles recasts Romero’s “Day of the Dead”
Posted on August 11, 2004 | No CommentsWe at the Stinkyard were none too pleased by the lack of acting found in Romero's third zombie movie. So we decided recast it ourselves in a mini-article. We won't say too much else, except that Blacula is involved. -
Terror Toons
Posted on August 2, 2004 | No CommentsThe season one finale to the Stinkyard. Joe Castro presents something we never wanted to know existed: another movie! Killer cartoons have crept their way out of a satanic DVD to gore up a household of slack-jawwed youngsters. It's a tale of boobs, fake blood, latex skin, bad cartoon effects and strip-ouija board! Relax, it's not as good as it sounds. -
Ax ‘Em
Posted on July 18, 2004 | 1 CommentWe would rather lodge hamster droppings up our nostrils than ever watch this movie again. This is one of the worst, if not THE very worst horror movies. An Afro-American slasher that looks like it was shot on scotch tape instead of film and has sound so poor, you might as well listen to it behind a waterfall. Let the pain begin. -
The Pool
Posted on July 9, 2004 | 2 CommentsThe Pool is a movie about, you guessed it, a pool. Actually, it's about a bunch of Euros getting killed at a pool. In the process of watching this movie, we decided that we don't like Europeans anymore. -
Python
Posted on June 30, 2004 | No CommentsPYTHON is a horror movie about an enormous snake, which somehow avoids taking itself too seriously. Either that or it has managed to ignore its finer points of ridiculousness. But how can you go wrong with a movie starring Freddy Krueger and the evil Johnny from The Karate Kid? Well, you could add Jenny McCarthy... -
The Coroner
Posted on June 18, 2004 | No CommentsThe Coroner might have been a pretty cool movie. Of course, it wasn't and Shortstick waited way too long to write this review. Shortstick would like to remind wannabe reviewers (like us) to review movies as soon as possible or you will end up with a review like this! -
Dead Alive
Posted on June 4, 2004 | No CommentsDead Alive is arguably the most gory and bloody movie ever made. There might be bloodier and gorier movies, but they can't possibly be as fun as this one. In a shocking development, Shortstick actually wrote a positive review for the Stink Yard! -
Final Stab
Posted on June 4, 2004 | 1 CommentA poo-poo slasher movie with nothing going for it. "Final Stab" doesn't hurt as much as some, but its mediocrity is heaped so thick, watching it is like treasure-diving into a lagoon of lard. -
Strawberry Estates
Posted on May 21, 2004 | 1 CommentA yawn inspiring knock off of the Blair Witch Project. The damage caused by Strawberry Estates was exponential, like a long terd finally splashing down. -
The Toxic Avenger
Posted on May 20, 2004 | No CommentsA no-brainer for best cheesy movie of all time. "The Toxic Avenger" has the holy trinity: nudity, violence, and bad acting. Could it get much better? Well yes; Troma has an uncensored version.
