Near Death
Posted on November 3, 2004 | No Comments"Near Death" is the latest Joe Castro movie to be reviewed, and that's serious shit if you're one of the reviewers. The film is another showcase for Castro's gore effects, and also another chance for him to mustard-gas us with bad story, acting, lighting, sets, camera work and any other term found in a filmmakers reference. Killer cartoons have crept their way out of a satanic DVD to gore up a household of slack-jawwed youngsters. It's a tale of boobs, fake blood, latex skin, bad cartoon effects and strip-ouija board! Relax, it's not as good as it sounds. -
The Legend of the Chupacabra (Troma)
Posted on April 26, 2004 | 4 CommentsTROMA presents a really bad knock off on "The Blair Witch Project," which stars a woman with an elongated a crotch and costars an assortment of big-assed throwaway characters, not to mention that skittering from goat to goat is also the monster himself, the Chupa "Get your Suck-on" Cabra.
