Youngmanridge Visits Dave & Buster’s

Dave & Buster's is a gathering place for twenty-somethings who would rather be punching buttons and slamming jack and cokes. We could get use to it though. Highlights include: the D&B shooting gallery, Mazan the videosword game, and the Mechwarrior battle. -
A Youngmanridge Superbowl

It seems like a no-brainer: watch the Super Bowl, get drunk, and document what we did with words and the good ol' digital camera. Other articles like this have worked out really well. In retrospect, it might have seemed like a better idea than it actually was. Still it seemed like a great plan, until Roachito and I were kicking it at his apartment on Super Bowl eve getting ready to invibe a couple of pitchers of beer when I got a phone call. -
Youngmanridge visits Laughlin, NV
Posted on December 4, 2003 | No CommentsOver Thanksgiving weekend, Roachito and Shortstick paid a little visit to Laughlin, NV. We stayed up way too late, drank a bit too much, and played a hell of a lot of blackjack. After careful study, we came to a couple of conclusions - first, Laughlin is a pretty cool place to hang Youngmanridge style and blackjack is the coolest way to lose your money! -
Youngmanridge visits Chuck E. Cheese
Posted on November 26, 2003 | No CommentsAh yes, it's time for another YMR.com photo story. This time, we decided to hit up our local Chuck E. Cheese restaurant to take a trip down memory lane and to check the joint out since it is sorta new. I don't know if it is the area that we live in or if Chuck has changed his place that much, but it was quite different from the place we remembered from our youth. Then again, maybe it was because we are in our late 20s and we aren't freaking 5 anymore. -
Youngmanridge Visits the Grocery Store
Posted on November 15, 2003 | No CommentsHere's the scoop on this little photo story: Last week before the YMR boys went to see the Matrix: Revolutions, we made a trip to Food 4 Less to pick up a couple of liquid refreshments before we enjoyed the movie. When we were making our way towards said liquid refreshments, we thought it would be a great idea to do a little photo story on our shopping experience. Shortstick and Roachito made a return trip to snap some photos tonight and came up with this. I really hope this turns out well! -
A Youngmanridge Halloween
Posted on November 1, 2003 | No Comments'm pretty sure none of you are dying to know how the folks at Youngmanridge spent our Halloween, but we're gonna tell you anyhow. The goal for the night was to try and scare the crap out of kids and document it. Unfortunately, due to me (el Shortstick) being a novice with my digital cam, it didn't turn out quite as well as we wanted it to, but we still got some good scares from the kiddies (especially the teenagers) and had a good time!
